Gilda Buttà, an international pianist performs in two of the most beautiful stone theatres in Sicily. The music of Debussy, Liszt, Chopin and Gerschwin Morricone in the heart of Tindari and Catania (on 16th and 17th August). Her hands recorded the soundtrack of "the legend of the pianist on the ocean and other masterpieces, like Canone inverso, Love affair, the Untouchables, Frantic, Ccasualties of War, the Good Pope, Bugsy. This is a very special artist ready to give the audience's emotions thanks to an important repertoire ranging from classical to jazz, from Malone to her compositions. Talent prodigy, the Sicilian Butta very young began collecting prizes in piano competitions nationally and in 1976 won the Franz Liszt Prize. Thus began an intense concert activity that makes an artist known to most important theatres in the world. She played for major institutions, both as a soloist and chamber musician throughout Europe, Usa, South America, Japan, Korea, China, Russia and Israel.
