Composed of the first parts of the Chamber Orchestra of Messina, it intends to give an increasingly incisive and widespread presence of "musical events" as well as a greater and more and more determined attention and availability for projects aimed at enhancing the musical forces of the southern Italy. Born to perform exclusively Baroque music has, over the years, more and more expanded its repertoire up to push it to the contemporary one by performing, in the various formations, also music in absolute premiere composed and dedicated to the group itself. Over the years, the group has alternated the most varied formations and is currently composed of established teachers and musicians who have already played a large concert activity both in Italy and abroad in different formations. The Chamber Orchestra of Messina has celebrated thirty years of artistic activity.
